This recycled polyester tailoring fabric is woven in the Veneto area of Italy on a 1950’s vintage shuttle loom and made from recycled polyester produced from pet plastic bottle waste. All steps in the process of making this material, from collecting the bottles to the yarn spinning and finishing are made in Italy following the strict prescription of the global recycled standard. We chose to make this product from certified recycled polyester because it ensures a reduction in water consumption, emissions and hazardous waste, lessening the dependence on non-renewable resources.
