Lee Brennan Design was born in 2008, with a relatively natural progression from a 10 year construction background. The step to Furniture, Jewellery and Interior Design Concepts was triggered by a number of reasons, including a greater desire for creative freedom and to carry forward the possibilities and integrity that come with recycled materials. Demolition yards, derelict barns and houses, decommissioned bridges and wharfs, provide the backbone of the furniture & fit out designs. Not only have these materials proved their structural integrity they have also developed a rugged charm that comes only through many years exposed to a harsh Australian climate. Lee Brennan Design strives to improve waste management and a heightened responsibility in the construction industry while promoting the beauty and strength of it’s veteran materials.
