Rick Owens FW23 LUXOR Edfu top in black stretch lamb leather.

This edfu top is above hip length with a skin tight fit and long sleeves. it has a round, raw cut neck, cuffs and hem. it features level shoulder seams and a geo seam which runs across the chest and slopes down the side body. it has a back yoke seam and the signature single seam running down the centre back spine. This stretch lamb leather has a small grain texture and a matte finish. 

This leather is made by a second generation family owned tannery in the south of france, specializing only in stretch leather production. Each skin is stretched out to its limit and bonded to a cotton and lycra fabric backing. when dyed, the heat of the process activates the lycra elastic fibres that shrink the fabric and with it the skin, back to its original size. the leather then exits the process as stretch.
