Rick Owens FW23 LUXOR dirt pillar in brown cracked stretch denim

This dirt pillar skirt is ankle length with a tight fit. it has an extra high waist with back zipper, a tapered skirt with raw cut hem and a slit in the centre back seam, up to the knee.

This lightweight stretch denim has a soft, matte film overlay. after the denim base is over dyed and coated with a dark glue, the film is applied by heat press and tumbled to create the soft hand feel and cracked effect. 

Since the film is applied directly on the ready garment, seams and details make the application irregular, exposing the underlying denim in certain areas. this is an inherent characteristic of this type of treatment and is a desired visual aspect which makes each piece unique.
